What is this site about?

Balloon-A-Day is a combination showcase / tutorial site, where I plan on posting a new balloon every day, as well as instructions for several of the creations.

What balloons do you use?

I use Qualatex brand balloons, primarily in the 260q1 size. Occasionally I use 160q balloons, for some of the finer detail.

Footnotes

1 Balloon numbering is actually their size. The first digit is how big around they are, the second is the length fully inflated. The “q” just denotes that it’s a Qualatex balloon. So a 260q would be 2 inches wide, 60 inches long.
